Up until Wednesday night, just two of the 32 second-round picks in the 2025 NFL Draft were under contract as rookies began reporting to training camps. However, a major domino seems to have fallen that could open the floodgates for those second rounders to put pen to paper.

The saga of many the second-round picks in the 2025 NFL draft not having signed their contracts could be coming to an end after Alfred Collins, the No. 43 overall selection, agreed to his rookie deal with the San Francisco 49ers.

The San Francisco 49ers have signed DL Alfred Collins to a four-year deal. With the signing, the 49ers now have all 11 of the team’s 2025 draft picks under contract.
