A late winter storm dragging heavy rain and snow eastward across the US has knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of people and is threatening Washington and the Mid-Atlantic with dangerous high winds later on Monday.
All the storms are out of here, with lingering light showers exiting around 6 a.m., and temperatures tanking into the 30s.
