Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault addressed an ongoing trend on the road, regarding Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s frequent trips to the free-throw line. The All-Star is pelted with a “Free-throw merchant” chants.

Now that he has roughly a month left before training camp begins, Gilgeous-Alexander has given back to his hometown by hosting a basketball camp. Aaron Wiggins and Jaylin Williams made surprise appearances during the event.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been on a tear since the All-Star break in the Bay. Honestly, though, that year has lasted the entirety of the season, which is why he’s the leading candidate for MVP in the NBA.

The Thunder could not have given Daigneault a better gift, as there is nothing that validates a coach's hard work more than the consistent winning basketball his team can play. But Gilgeous-Alexander has other ideas for what gift to deliver to the young head coach.
