A 26-year-old woman is dead after falling from a cliff Saturday in a remote, hilly portion of Hardin County, according to a media release from West Hardin Fire & Rescue.

Officials believe that the woman had fallen about two to three stories from a cliffside in a remote area. Callers told first responders that the woman had landed on rocks below the cliff.
