A hockey fan was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after falling from the upper level of the arena during a Pittsburgh Penguins game on Monday, according to the team and local public safety officials.

A man was taken to a local hospital in Pittsburgh after falling from the upper concourse stands at a Penguins hockey game Monday night.

The Penguins enter Tuesday’s game against the Philadelphia Flyers with a 7-2-1 record and one of the best records in the NHL through the first month of the season.
