The New England Patriots are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jonathan Ward to their practice squad. Pittsburgh cut Ward in June from the team, and now he has found a new squad. Ward spent most of last season with the team on the practice squad, but was called up from the practice squad for four games as a special teamer.
The New England Patriots executed back-to-back trades on Tuesday night, with safety Kyle Dugger and a 2026 7th-round pick heading to the Pittsburgh Steelers in exchange for a 6th-round pick, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
