The 2025-26 NFL regular season is in full swing, and Week 6 saw a few interesting results (New York Giants beating the Philadelphia Eagles outright on Thursday night), along with the Kansas City Chiefs looking more like their old selves in a 30-17 win over the Detroit Lions as 2.5-point favorites.
Week 7 will conclude with yet another Monday Night Football doubleheader. The Detroit Lions (4-2) will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (5-1) and the Seattle Seahawks (4-2) will host the Houston Texans (2-3). The Buffalo Bills (4-2) and Baltimore Ravens (1-5) are on a bye in Week 7, riding two- and four-game losing streaks, respectively.
Each week, every non-primetime game (in other words, the games that aren't played on Thursday Night Football , Sunday Night Football, or Monday Night Football) is broadcast on either CBS or Fox at 1 p.m. ET or around 4 p.m. ET. This means fans everywhere will have at least two games shown on their screens every Sunday afternoon during the season.
NFL Week 7 is here, so let's look at the odds and make some picks and predictions for the next weekend of the 2025 regular season.
They are in the perfect spot to finally get above .500 in Week 7 as the Raiders come to town. Geno Smith has been a turnover machine, leading the league with 10 interceptions in just six games. The 35-year-old has been sacked 18 times in that span – tying him for third-most. The Chiefs' defense should have a fun day at the office.
Daniels was officially ruled out on Thursday with a low-grade hamstring strain he suffered in last week's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. Head coach Dan Quinn said the injury is not significant or long term and that the team wanted Daniels to focus on rehabbing to be ready for Week 9. Daniels has already missed two games this season with a knee injury.
