Cincinnati Bengals roster bubble players have two preseason games left to make their case for the final 53-man roster. Injuries, breakout performances and other factors have thrown out some unexpected results when attempting to cobble together a projected final roster, too.

The Cincinnati Bengals played their first preseason game last Thursday, and we got our first look at the 2025 team, including the starters. Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Tee Higgins, and the first-team offense scored twice on two drives and looked like they hadn’t skipped a beat. The defense and second-team offense? That was a different story.

Notes: There’s a minor change here. On the Bengals’ first depth chart, they have Hill as the team’s starting nickel corner, and instead of Jalen Davis, Mike Hilton’s long-time backup, behind him, Josh Newton is. So Davis is out and Wilson is in as CB6.
