AUSTIN — Norris McClure went 3 for 5 with a two-run homer in the first inning and UTSA added five runs in the third to help eliminate No. 2 national seed Texas 7-4 on Sunday night for the Austin Regional championship.

The UTSA baseball team topped No. 2 overall seed Texas, 7-4, in the final game of the Austin Regional to claim the program's first-ever NCAA Regional Championship. The Roadrunners (47-13) rolled to a perfect 3-0 record across the tournament — including a pair of victories over the Longhorns (43-14) — at UFCU Disch-Falk Field and will advance to Super Regionals to face an opponent that’s yet to be determined.
