Kourtney Kardashian is thanking her followers for making her aware of certain child safety precautions. The reality star faced backlash online after she posted Instagram photos of her summer vacation on Friday and included a snap of herself with her and husband Travis Barker’s 21-month-old son Rocky without a life vest aboard a boat.

K ourtney later took to Instagram to address the situation and thank fans for "looking out." Sharing a picture of a new infant life vest, she wrote, "Update: bought a life vest that fits!" She also admitted that she "honestly didn't think about some of the dangers" of boating before taking her son out on the water without proper equipment.

The "Kardashian" star later took to her Instagram Stories to share that she had purchased a life vest for her and Travis Barker's toddler.
