Game 3 of the AL Division Series between the Seattle Mariners and Detroit Tigers has started after a rain delay that lasted nearly three hours. Detroit was set to host Seattle with a late-afternoon start Tuesday,

Wednesday afternoon the Seattle Mariners will look to advance to the American League Championship series when they take the field in Motown against the Detroit Tigers. Bryce Miller is slated to take the mound for Seattle against Casey Mize for Detroit.

Crawford has now spent seven seasons with the Mariners, long enough to be the team’s career leader in games played at shortstop.

Returning to the mound for the fourth inning with hopes of calming things down against the bottom of the Mariners’ lineup, Flaherty was greeted by an authoritative swing from slugger Eugenio Suárez, who pummeled a poorly placed fastball deep to left field for a solo home run.

The Seattle Mariners are one win away from advancing to the American League Championship Series after beating the Detroit Tigers 8-4 in Game 3 of the ALCS Tuesday night.

After the game, Raleigh posed alongside the fan with an autographed bat that read: "Jameson, thanks for cheering us on and catching 61."
