Once again, the Boston Red Sox embarrassed the New York Yankees on Saturday afternoon at Yankee Stadium. The Red Sox won their eighth consecutive game against their rival ( BOS 12, NYY 1 ), the first time they've done that in a single season since 2009. It is only Boston's third eight-game winning streak over the Yankees in its history.

The Boston Red Sox might not ever want to leave Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, N.Y. after this weekend, but unfortunately for the visitors, Sunday, Aug. 24 marks the end to the four-game series between the New York Yankees and the Red Sox.

BOTTOM LINE: The Boston Red Sox will try to continue a three-game win streak with a victory over the New York Yankees. New York has a 69-60 record overall and a 37-28 record at home. Yankees pitchers have a collective 4.04 ERA, which ranks ninth in the AL.
