The Jets forced a quick three-and-out on Sean Clifford's first series of the third quarter and then turned a short field into an immediate score on Stone Smartt's 24-yard touchdown catch off a well-executed tight end screen. The score put the Jets up 24-3.

The Green Bay Packers kick off their 2025 preseason schedule against the New York Jets on Aug. 9 at Lambeau Field. Coach Matt LaFleur has been noncommittal about playing his starters against the Jets but has said data shows that players who see action during the preseason fare better during the regular season.

The Green Bay Packers started slow, handed the New York Jets easy points off turnovers and were unable to overcome a sloppy, uninspired effort in a 30-10 loss to the visiting Jets in Saturday night's preseason opener at Lambeau Field.
