The cola innovation comes just four months after PepsiCo’s $1.95 billion acquisition of Poppi, signaling a significant commitment to the latest trend in consumer beverage consumption, per CNBC. PepsiCo is banking on the latest health trend to be a permanent one as the company announces the launch of its Pepsi Prebiotic Cola.

Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla will be the first two flavors offered from Pepsi Prebiotic Cola. Pepsi bought prebiotic soda company Poppi in March.

The drinks will be available in Original Cola and Cherry Vanilla flavors and can be purchased in single or 8-packs of 12-ounce cans online this fall and in stores at the beginning of 2026, the news release states. PepsiCo acquired Austin-based prebiotic drink, Poppi, for $1.95 billion in March.
