Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are reprising those roles in a sequel to their 1998 film, “Practical Magic.” Warner Bros. Studios, which is owned by CNN’s parent company, made the announcement in a video post on Tuesday.

Practical Magic 2, the sequel to the 1998 movie, will arrive on Sept. 18, 2026. As previously reported, Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock will reprise their roles as Gillian and Sally Owens, a pair of sisters with unintentionally fatal attractions to men.

Warner Bros. took to social media Tuesday to announce that director Susanne Bier’s forthcoming feature Practical Magic 2 is set to hit theaters Sept. 18, 2026. Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman are returning from the original that was released Oct. 16, 1998.
