President-elect Donald J. Trump, in perhaps his first official trip after being inaugurated on Monday, will likely visit the Los Angeles area to survey wildfire damage late next week.

A new wildfire was reported today at 1:46 p.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is currently no information about the containment efforts for the fire and its cause remains undetermined.
