Over 100 people have died after heavy rain pounded Kerr County, Texas, early Friday, leading to "catastrophic" flooding, the sheriff said.

At least 95 people have died in Kerr County, Texas, according to officials, after devastating flash floods swept through south central Texas on Friday, killing 119 people in the state.

While searches continue their pain-staking work, holding out hope, of finding some survivors. Kerr County officials face mounting questions about whether enough was done to get people out before the flood came in.
