It could be said that 2025 has been an interesting time for dinosaur fans thanks to Jurassic World Rebirth’s current run in theaters. Then again, that outlook may be a touch too positive depending on who you’re talking to,
As Jurassic World movies tend to do, Rebirth features callbacks to a number of films in the franchise. However, it pays particular homage to the original—and greatest dinosaur movie to ever do it— Jurassic Park. Here are six of the best nods to Steven Spielberg's 1993 classic.
The DNA in this new round of dinosaurs is so good, it's leading Universal/Amblin's Jurassic World Rebirth to a higher worldwide opening than previously reported, that being $322.5M worldwide (instead of $318M+) with $147.
Currently, the only way to watch "Jurassic World Rebirth" is by seeing it on the big screen. Given its 52% score on Rotten Tomatoes, though, you might think it a safer bet to skip it in cinemas; tickets aren't cheap, after all!
