Few athletes have become more synonymous with a single event than Rafael Nadal and the French Open. The Spaniard won a record 14 titles at the grand slam in his career and Roland Garros gave its champion one final goodbye on Sunday.

A ceremony honoring 14-time French Open champion Rafael Nadal has started Sunday at Court Philippe-Chatrier, the stadium where he won a record 14 championships at the clay-court Grand Slam tournament.

The ceremony for Nadal included the surprise of having Federer and Murray on hand, who joined him along with Djokovic on the court. It was a reunion of tennis’ Big Four.
