The state panel that oversees Florida's public universities is asking them to review their security measures this summer after the FSU mass shooting.

Following last month’s deadly shooting at Florida State University, state officials will review building security on college campuses and host a systemwide safety summit in October to identify improvements and potential legislative actions.
