FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department (FPD) is conducting a death investigation after three people died from stab wounds. Police were called to the 200 block of Bellarthur Lane just before 9 a.m. Friday. Responding officers found multiple people with critical injuries. FPD says when EMS arrived all three had died.

Chief Ken Braden says shortly before 9:00 a.m. they got a call from someone inside the home on Bellarthur Lane.

Two of the victims were juveniles and the other victim was an older woman. An adult male was taken into custody.

Three people were killed Friday morning in a neighborhood off Clinton Road in Fayetteville, according to a news release. The Fayetteville Police Department said multiple victims were located with critical injuries around 9 a.m. in the 200 block of Bellarthur Lane. Officers were initially responding to a reported stabbing, according to the release.

Fayetteville police are investigating an early morning homicide near Bragg Boulevard. According to the Fayetteville Police Department, at 2:40 a.m. Feb. 21, officers responded to the area of Bragg Boulevard and Winston Avenue for a homicide investigation. An individual was located and pronounced dead at the scene, the release said.

Around 2:40 a.m., officers responded to a homicide investigation in the area of Bragg Boulevard and Winston Avenue. Responders found a victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
