Some flights into and out of Denver International Airport could be delayed by up to nearly three hours due to severe thunderstorm warnings across the Denver metro area and eastern Colorado on Wednesday.

DENVER ( KDVR) — The Denver International Airport is holding an in-person hiring fair in August for a variety of positions. The hiring fair will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 12 on the plaza that connects the Westin Hotel to the Jeppesen Terminal, the airport said Tuesday.

Part of the plane’s landing gear caught on fire during its departure from Denver International Airport on Saturday, according to Denver7’s reporting. The Miami-bound American Airlines flight 3023 reported a “maintenance issue” with an airplane tire about 2:45 p.m. and aborted takeoff, airline and federal officials said.
