UCLA softball dropped to the loser's bracket of the 2025 Women's College World Series after a narrow 3-1 loss to the Texas Tech Red Raiders Saturday night.

Tennessee softball lost its first game of the Women's College World Series to No. 2 seed Oklahoma. The Lady Vols will play Florida on May 30.

Alannah Leach had two hits and knocked in four runs, and Tennessee rolled past Florida 11-3 in a Women's College World Series elimination game Friday night.

NiJaree Canady gave up just four hits and struck out seven, and Texas Tech defeated UCLA 3-1 on Saturday to reach the Women's College World Series semifinals for the first time. The Red Raiders (52-12) need one win against Oregon or Oklahoma on Monday to reach the best-of-three championship series.
