After suffering a torn Achilles, Boston Celtics superstar Jayson Tatum is reportedly expected to talk with Kevin Durant regarding the rehabilitation process.

Boston's title defense ended in the second round of the 2025 playoffs as it fell to a scrappy New York team in six games. Looming larger than the series loss was the loss of Jayson Tatum, who underwent surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon suffered at the end of Game 4.

The 27-year-old Tatum met with his teammates on Thursday at the team hotel for the first time since his Achilles tear. Payton Pritchard, who won the Sixth Man of the Year Award this season, said it was great to see his "brother."
