"Severance," "The White Lotus," "The Studio" and "Hacks" are among the shows that earned top nominations for the 77th annual Primetime Emmy Awards​ as the 2025 nominees were announced Tuesday morning.

Severance' leads the nominees with a total of 27 mentions, followed by 'The Penguin' (24), 'The Studio' and 'The White Lotus' (23 apiece) and 'The Last of Us' (16).

Nominees for the 2025 Emmy Awards were announced by Harvey Guillén (“What We Do in the Shadows”) and Brenda Song (“Running Point”) on Tuesday morning. In the drama categories, “The White Lotus,” “Severance” and “The Last of Us” picked up the most nominations — with “Severance” earning 27, the most of any show this year.
