We traveled to the ranch with 4 couples for the all-adults Fall Adventure week and had a blast. Everything, from the facilities to the food to the service and activities was top- notch. Can't say eno… Full review by Eileen D

After two challenging years visiting Mountain Sky, the ranch is back to delivering the kind of experience we'd been accustomed to enjoying for many previous years. The riding is still superb, the set… Full review by leabN7508RN

For those of you who have visited the ranch, did you have ample opportunity to canter (lope) or was that rare, or not allowed at all?
A:
Based on your experience level you have the opportunity to lope snd canter as you feel good with. The ranch sends a wrangler with you per your level and takes you on rides that fit.

Planning a multigenerational family trip with a 2-year-old. Are the kids programs able to cater to a child that young? Also, how are dining arrangements? Can the entire family sit together? Or, are there separate child and adult seatings (I've heard of this at other ranches).

I have four children, all of whom went to (and loved) MSGR as 2 year olds. They are all teenagers now. Children eat bit earlier (5:45) than adults (6:30) and have really fun activities until parents finish dinner. Then we (children and parents) meet up after dinner. It works really well.

Have any of the reviewers travelled to the Mountain Sky Guest Ranch in early October? Is this still a good time of year to visit? Does an October visit limit the number of activities normally available? Thanks!

You can call the reservationist , and they can answer all your questions. They actually are on site, so they know about the weather conditions, etc. Since we were there in early September, we had great weather. It was a little cool in the mornings, but quickly warmed up into the 60-70's. Every activity was offered, except white water rafting.

Gratuity is included in your rate, so there is no need to tip staff working on-site. Our massage therapists and off-site contractors (sporting clays, rafting guides, etc.) are not employed by the ranch, and gratuity is appreciated in those scenarios. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns!

I believe they would be considered as adults. The "children's program" is really for younger, grade-school children, but there are teen options. I would recommend going and finding out if there will be others the same age, and letting your teens decided where they are more comfortable. The ranch is the most accommodating place I have ever experienced, so I am positive there will be no issues at all. Call them if it makes you feel better. The people who answer the phone are very helpful and will really answer anything. You will be on vacation. Mountain Sky will make sure everyone enjoys themselves.
